Who's behind the bar
Can I be honest for a second?
I didn't start this because I wanted to be a "reviewer." I started it because I wanted something deeper than a star rating.
You've been there. You finish a book that left you breathless, then realize you just read the third generation of a family without ever meeting the parents. Or you pick up a "bestseller" and find watered-down spice and a plot that feels written by an algorithm, not a human heart.
"Bestseller" was starting to stand for total bullshit.
So here's the truth: I'm a total series whore. I read 80+ books a year, cover to cover, and I go so deep into an author's catalog that I recognize character crossovers like they're my neighbors.
I built Sips & Series because you deserve a guide who actually does the hunting. Because what's the point of a 40-book binge if it doesn't deliver the heat, the heart, and the hangover you were promised?
At this bar, we keep it simple
House rules
01
No five-star inflation.
If it's lazy, I'll call it out. If I got bored and walked away, you'll be the first to know.
02
No AI takes.
Every word here comes from a reader who stayed up until 3 a.m. because "one more chapter" was a beautiful lie.
03
Mapped, not listed.
Authors publish faster than their own websites can keep up. I map the crossovers so you can stay lost in the world without the guesswork.
